When we close at 2.00pm for training purposes. If you require urgent medical assistance which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens please dial 111.

FROM 30TH NOVEMBER we shall be activating the ordering of our repeat prescriptions directly with our clinical system EMIS WEB.  Please make sure you visit the practice with photo-id and proof of address so that we can issue you with a PIN code letter to activate this service for you. Please note if you already signed up to use the online appointments booking you will be able to use the same login to order repeat prescriptions.  Many thanks

Please order your repeat medication at least two working days before you run out.
 
You cannot order The Contraceptive pill nor HRT medication on repeat.You must see a GP.
 
You may hand in your repeat to the surgery or the pharmacy at Barton or post/fax it to the surgery on 01283 722945  or you can order via the     website.www.bartonmedicalpractice.co.uk
 


Your prescription will be ready and sent to the local chemist in the village within 48 hours of our receipt of a repeat prescription request. If you prefer, you can collect your prescription from the surgery, after the same 48 hour preparation period.
 
To take your prescription to a pharmacy of your choice please mark your prescription "For Collection".
 
PLEASE AVOID WASTAGE BY ORDERING ONLY WHAT YOU ACTUALLY NEED.
 
Please allow an extra day for the Pharmacist to prepare your medication.
